Gemini Full Moon Astrology: The Last Full Moon of 2024
Arriving on 15 December in the sign of Gemini, the last Full Moon of 2024 is a powerful point of release. While it is important to honour where we have been and our journey thus far, this Full Moon is also signalling us to let go of all that is heavy.
What is no longer ours to carry? What do we want to leave behind in the ashes of 2024? It is time to set those intentions. It is time to release all that we no longer wish to bring with us into the new year.

Gemini is represented by the twins, where one twin is mortal and the other immortal. This represents the dynamic that makes us who we are. We are both a forever soul and a temporary physical being. After some time, our body will cease to exist. The identity that we have created will vanish. But our soul will live on.
Dancing this dance between our physical body, or ego, and our eternal spiritual body is what life is all about. While we can recognise we are a loving, eternal, and forever soul, we still have to navigate the physical realm and all the emotions and stresses that come with it.

Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion, is active under this Full Moon and may magnify our emotional state. Full Moons tend to draw things up and out of us, and Jupiter’s presence here may expand all that we are feeling.
Our emotions may feel heightened or more serious than we need to make them be. We may feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or depleted by everything we have going on.
While this may be challenging, the beauty with Jupiter is that it always helps us to focus on the positive and to see the silver linings. We may need to shift our minds to see this perspective, but Jupiter will be on our side.

When Mercury stations direct shortly after the peak of this Full Moon, it will emerge from the underworld with new messages to share and new tales to tell.
Mercury will also be working alongside an active Neptune, which seems to be the Universe’s way of reminding us to really trust our intuition and inner instincts. Neptune, the planet of spirituality, calls for us to think beyond the rational mind and into our more subtle senses, so use these energies to go within and really listen to the soft voice of your heart and soul.
